The Orderful site was in rough shapte when I was brought in to help. It was throwing errors on many of its main pages, including the homepage. Additionally, the team had migrated to a new headless CMS, but the migration was incomplete and still had a spaghetti bowl of technologies propping up the site (barely). The team was unable to make any new changes and it was incredibly difficult to update what alrady existed. The goal for this project was to get these infrasctructure problems sorted out, clean up the deployment processes, make content more easily updatable, and implement new marketing tools. I worked with another developer to a functional state without critial errors, one single CMS, and the ability to create and update landing pages. At the same time, I set up google analytics and another tool called PostHog. We were then able to run A/B tests with the new landing pages and let user behavior dictate what direction our user experience design went in.
